Gloria`s Latin Cuisine in Rockwall

Very nice atmosphere. Food was excellent. Service was slow even with a lot of staff. Had to ask for drinks and salsa many times of any server we could find. I almost walked to the front to find a server. There was at least one server for every two tables of patrons. When we were leaving there were lots of servers standing around chatting.

The food was delicious the environment was great people were joyful and happy great to take a loved one or loved ones there, the view was gorgeous on the patio overlooking the lake and after you eat you can grab a desserts in the same shopping center or do a little shopping or just take a stroll around the shopping center

I have been going to this Glorias restaurant for nine years and have always loved their food. I always enjoy their chips and salsa and bean dip but something had changed and I asked the waiter what it was. He said they are making their chips out of flour tortillas instead of corn and they tasted horrible and stale. We asked for a fresh basket and they tasted stale also. The hot sauce was different and not in a good way and the bean dip was watered down. I ordered the beef nachos like I always do because I love them. Since they have changed from corn to flour chips they became very soggy while I was eating them and the beef was not seasoned at all and barely had any bean and cheese on it. The only good thing they served me was the guacamole and I asked to take it home and the waiter took it away and never brought it back in a to-go box. I will never go back to this restaurant again!

Gloria's is a favorite of my husband and I's. This location is always clean, the staff always attentive, and the food is always hot. Since the new Texas mandate, they did very well with social distancing and making sure things stayed cleaned.

Menus are scanned by QR code, 90 min max but they will not put u out!! Love it.

Always love the food but don't think about asking for extra salsa when getting it delivered, you end up getting less than a single serving

Love this place. The margarita swrill is the way to go. 4 off those and you're feeling good all night. The food and salsa is awesome too.

Best place to get some food when in a rush. The service is fast, prices are fair, great vibes. I highly recommend this spot.

The food is good, a little too much black pepper, and really a little high for what you get. The service makes up for the average food and is always great. The exception is large groups, it takes forever to get a table, when they do have a banquet room unused.

Nice ambiance as we we seated in the covered patio area overlooking the lake. Brunch was delicious and their drinks are always on point. I had the chicken fajita omelet with fruit and potatoes as well as the blackberry mimosa. 😊

I have been living in Latin America for the past 5 years. This food was exceptional! Everything we had was delicious. Pupusas and everything were authentic. Absolutely delicious!

We visited for the first time last night. There were quite a few options for dinner. I choose tostada ceviche and really enjoyed it

This review is me warning you that, while Covid is happening, avoid this place. Nowhere to wait outside for a table that isn't in the sun. 20 minute wait with a virtually empty restaurant at 5pm on a weekday. Maddening.

We went with a group of 5 for an impromptu birthday dinner. Had a short wait but seated in a timely manner. The hostess was polite and friendly. Once we were seated we received excellent service the entire meal. Our drinks were never empty and we were checked on regularly. The free bean dip with chips and different salsas was very good!

Food is tasty! michelada isn't good,but great and fast service.

I realized that the, Rockwall location, has taken Crepes off of their menu. I go there for Brunch & I'm very disappointed.

The location was difficult to find inside the mall, but once we got there, the experience was great. Modern setting and decide, a patio overlooking the water and very tasty food. The fresh made thin corn chips and three flavors of salsa are very tasty. They had a good selection of high quality food. We ordered guacamole, queso, with Spinach enchiladas, these were all fresh and tasty. They even chopped and sauteed fresh Serrano peppers for us. One of our party ordered the quail and it was we'll prepared and tasty. We had no room left for the deserts which looked great too. We will be back.

We look forward to eating at Gloria’s every time we come to Rockwall. This is our favorite location especially when the weather is nice to enjoy the patio. The service is always good and the food excellent!

Excellent food and drinks, especially the tamales and house margarita. Service was atmosphere was great. We'll definitely add this place to our regular stops.

Literally couldn’t have been faster. Very delicious and good cocktails! Patio is covered and heated, right on the lake! I recommend the fried plantains.

This place does not disappoint and has an amazing menu. The views are fantastic and the service has always been nearly perfect. I love the plantains, and they have such an amazing iced tea! My wife and I have gone here on date nights a few times and it is hard to beat. Love it!

This was an amazing visit to Gloria's. Carlos took very good care of us, and the restaurant did a great job of allowing appropriate space between tables. The food was delicious after a day on the water, and my mojito was probably the best one I've ever had. Well done, Gloria's!

So far most of the menu is ok...been eating there for years...but recently they stepped up their game so run don't walk and try the pollo championes...it is out of this world...now maybe it's because iv been on lockdown for 3 months but man oh man it was fricken awesome

The Surf & Turf is a great option if you want some sea and land... Service is good and they are managing well the social distance.

Been told the wait was 25 mins and waited over an hour and a half , This happened the last 3 times I came to this restaurant. My last time!!!!!Went to Mi Cocina for a way better experience and Mambotaxi margaritas

I am giving a one star review strictly for the poor customer service that I just received at Glorias in Rockwall Texas. I placed a to go order over the phone confirm the order twice with the girl told her that I would be there at 6 o’clock to pick it up and she said fine. I got to the harbor found parking on a Sunday evening and then walked down to the restaurant they couldn’t find my order because apparently they don’t take all ahead orders. Now mind you I called at 5 o’clock. How much of a call ahead order is that???? Do you know what that’s fine but then why wasn’t I told that instead of wasting my time and making me come all the way to there to pick up an order that wasn’t ever going to be there? I was offered to sit outside while they took the time to make my order in the 97 heat and sunshine. There are plenty of Mexican restaurants in the Rockwall area that will get my money in the future.

Food was good but they turned on stupid fan which blew our food around and cooled it off. Also blew our hair into our eyes and onto our forks. I guess they wanted us to leave so they could use table. Waiter was very nice and polite. Fans should not have been turned on pointing down.

Good nachos. A little pricey for the serving size. Nice wait staff!

Was so disappointed in Gloria's. We ordered carry-out curb side pickup and it was absolutely horrible. The stake nachos were soggy and absolutely horrible and all you could taste was beans. The queso with brisket had literally no brisket in it. The queso was absolutely horrible and must be some new recipe the are trying and was just loaded with jalapenos. The taco meat was no better than taco bell. The enchiladas were bland and tasted like they were previously frozen. Will not make this mistake again and order carry-out from Gloria's. Great job Gloria's you are sacrificing the quality of you food to make a few extra bucks.

I enjoyed the food I’ve been going here since I was a young kid but my recent experience the waiter I had stole 15 dollars from me as a tip and charged me an extra 19 dollars for my food.I called the manager and instead of believing the customer and refunding believed his waiter who I strictly explained that it was 30 dollars so you won’t be getting business from me for a long time.

Most people know Gloria's is the best place to eat on lake Ray Hubbard. It is go for both going out nice and going there from docking your boat in casual attire. Priced really good for what you get.

The wait can be long and it isn't over when you get to the table. Drinks were slow to get there and we had completed our appetizers before she took our entree orders. On the brightside, the food was correct and tasty. Flavorful without being too spicy.

The hostess sat us with no issues on a Friday evening about 30 minutes before closing. Service was prompt and courteous. The sour cream Enchiladas were delicious and I appreciated the nice array of veggies with the kids meal. Overall great Experience. The atmosphere was very modern and inviting.

Food was decent. I’m vegetarian so I didn’t expect to find much, but usually I can find something. On their menu it mentioned they had vegetarian burritos which I asked for. The waiter said it had all the vegetables, just not the meat which I was fine with. I assumed it would have beans, rice, and fajita vegetables...it actually had what seemed to be a frozen vegetable stir fry kit cooked and rolled up into a tortilla for $15. It wasn’t terrible, just extremely unexpected. There were uncooked baby carrots inside of it as well as some cold green beans. It was quite honestly the weirdest burrito I’ve ever had, but not the worst! The chips and salsa we’re great though.
